Belty Bird ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Belty Bird: Learn English mobile application (the "App"). The App is built local-first: there are no accounts, no sign-in, and your learning data stays on your device. This Privacy Policy explains the little data that does move, and why.
No account, no sign-in: The App has no registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details.
Learning data stays on your device: Your level, lesson progress, streaks, saved vocabulary, and diary entries are stored only on your device. We have no server copy of them. Deleting the App deletes this data.
Anonymous purchase identifier: To manage your subscription without an account, the App generates a random identifier on your device. It contains no personal information and cannot be linked to you by us.
Purchase information: Payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store together with RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details; we only receive your subscription status.
AI feature requests: When you use the AI tutor or tap translate, the text of that request (your chat message or the sentence to translate, plus your learning level and topic) is sent to our server to generate a response. Requests are not linked to any personal profile. Translations are cached anonymously so repeated requests are served without reprocessing.
Voice input: Reading-aloud practice and voice conversation use your device's built-in speech recognition. We never receive or store your audio; your microphone is only active while the listening indicator is shown.
We do not run ads, we do not use analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
We do not sell any information. The only third parties involved are:
Learning data lives on your device. Server-side we keep only anonymous, shared caches (lesson content and translations) and subscription state. All transmission is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
Because your learning data is stored on your device, you are in control: uninstalling the App removes it. Anonymous server caches contain no personal data. Subscription records follow the App Store / Google Play retention rules.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, most of these rights are satisfied by design; for any question or request, email support@beltyai.com.
The App is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the App.
